Nguyen Style Batman model and Textures


Hey guys, put some textures on the Batman model I showed you guys a few weeks ago. Could still use some work and a spec map but I don't think he looks too bad eh?

Dustin Nguyen Styled Batman model

Made this Batman in the style of Dustin Nguyen's "Lil Gotham" Series. I don't usually do what some would call fan art but this was a very fun project to do and I think that as an experiment this has helped me in modelling more definition to an organic character. Probably gonna texture him eventually. As is the Topology is already solid enough to rig.

He works at "Cool Beans" a restaurant chain that serves exclusively variations of cold beans. They're surprisingly popular.

December 2013 Demo Reel



Have gotten a new Demo reel ready for before the Holidays. Gonna shoot a bunch of these bad boys out to as many studios as possible tomorrow and hopefully by the New Year I’ll hear back from some of them.

Photographer test renders

Took another look over the character model I started a few months ago but abandoned when it was not working. I'm very happy with how I managed to get the overall shape looking, now it's just to get some decent props* going and fuss around with the hair before texturing.

*She's going to be essentially a nature photographer, or at least that's what I have in mind. So I figure a nice camera and harness along with some bags for equipment. Gonna throw something on the arms as well. They're looking a little bare.

I'm going to have another demo reel whipped up by the end of this week.  As of now I don't think that this here lass will be on it but we'll see, It won't be in a finished and textured state if it is though.
